Progress Lifeline is seeking Casual Emergency Home Responders to deliver on-call support from home, assessing emergencies, offering reassurance, and coordinating with the Control Centre for the South Ribble area. You will be on-call, with shifts arranged based on service needs and your availability.

The role includes comprehensive training on moving and handling, first aid, and the use of specialist equipment, plus standby payments and mileage allowances for travel to incidents.

routine? As an Emergency Home Responder, you will be at the heart of providing critical support to our customers when they need it most. Whether you are assessing an emergency situation or offering reassurance and comfort, your role will be dynamic, rewarding and hands-on. At all times, you will provide reassurance and ensure our customers feel as comfortable and supported as possible. Working from home, you will be on call during agreed shifts and attend emergency calls in the South Ribble area when directed by our Control Centre. As a casual worker, you will have the flexibility to accept shifts that fit around your availability. What We Offer

A casual contract offering flexibility around existing commitmentsOpportunities to work day or night on-call shifts (06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00)Shifts offered based on business need and your availabilityA standby payment of £27.01 per standby shiftAdditional call-out payments of £20.18 per hour for the first 90 minutes, reducing to £13.75 per hour thereafterMileage allowance of £0.55 per mileComprehensive training and ongoing support If you meet the criteria
