Job summary

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for operating CT scanning equipment to produce images used by the Radiologists. The technologist orients patients and families to the scan procedure, prepares patients, processes studies, assesses image quality, and presents completed images to the Radiologist.

  • ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Prior radiology experience preferred.
Career Pathing

Generally promoted from Radiologic Technologist; may advance to CT/MRI Technologist.

Physical demands include moving patients, lifting equipment, and operating machinery. Employees may view a page with detailed physical demands.

Compensation and Benefits

The posted salary represents a market‑competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries are based on full‑time employment (40 standard hours per week) and prorated for part‑time positions.

In addition to salary, the position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions requiring night, weekend, or on‑call work may receive shift differentials or premium pay.
