About Children’s Minnesota

Department Overview

The Radiology department provides a complete range of sedated and nonsedated diagnostic imaging procedures for major and minor pediatric surgery, disease, or injury. Twenty‑four‑hour consultation services as well as education and outreach programs are available.

Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist provides health‑care services using X‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. The technologist performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by and at the request of a licensed practitioner. The technologist exercises professional judgment and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics, providing appropriate care and recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Qualifications
  • ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Compensation & Benefits

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Pay rates are determined by a wide range of factors, including market indicators, the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials and experience, internal equity, and organizational needs.

In addition to salary, the position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
