Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Mold Prep for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2pm–10pm). You will weigh, bore scope, wash, patch, wrap and inspect DS molds as part of our manufacturing process.

Responsibilities include using hand tools such as tape measures, straight edges and drills, operating a borescope and CNC machines to cut patterns, and moving molds with hoists. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated mechanical skills; CNC experience a plus.
• Able to work around insulation material and dust.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Export license is required for export-controlled tech work.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, bore scope, wash, patch, wrap and inspect DS molds at the Gibsonton, FL site.
• Operate hand tools and CNC machines to cut patterns.
• Move molds using hoists and manipulators.
• Perform cross training and other duties as needed.
