Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in California is seeking a Casting Production Coordinator for a part-time, six-month contract to support PlayStation Studios Casting and Talent Management. You will coordinate production tasks, manage budgets, and communicate with executives, talent agencies, and vendors in a fast-paced AAA environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong project management, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with AAA talent and recording studio staff.

  • Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.

  • Self-starter and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to work independently on difficult projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining cost trackers for each project in production, including updating cast lists with contractual obligations.
  • Recording number of sessions, session type and characters portrayed for each talent from bids/invoices.
  • Sending final bids/invoices to Administrative Coordinator for payment processing.
  • Documenting rates for services and the corresponding bids/invoices for completed work.
  • Tracking guarantees for talent sessions against contractual obligations.
  • External Talent Budget & Forecasting with Production and Finance.
  • Keeping spend updated on cost trackers for accurate reporting.
  • Providing monthly spend to development partners based on work scheduled.
  • Assisting with talent travel and booking arrangements.

Casting Production Coordinator

You are:

A multi-tasker with strong project management skills to coordinate/manage all areas of production support for the PlayStation Studios Casting and Talent Management Department, under Worldwide Studios. You are a natural operating in a fast-paced environment and have a seamless ability to communicate with, and support, executives, talent agencies, and a variety of other vendors.

We are looking for a Casting Production Coordinator who would be responsible for both financial and production tasks. This position will support with the casting and talent management professionals to ensure that the department, the games and the staff have what is needed to make some of the most exciting AAA games for PlayStation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining cost trackers for each project in production, including:
    • Updating the cast lists with contractual obligations (when necessary), i.e. session guarantees, booking requirements, etc.
    • Recording number of sessions, session type and characters portrayed for each talent from incoming bids/invoices
  • Sending final bids/invoices to the Administrative Coordinator for final payment processing
  • Documenting rates for services and the corresponding bids/invoices for completed work.
  • Tracking guarantees for talent sessions against contractual obligations
  • External Talent Budget & Forecasting in collaboration with the Production team and finance
  • Keeping spend updated on cost trackers so Director of Casting & Producers can provide accurate reporting of budget spend
  • Comparison of Actuals (Scope Track) against casting cost trackers to provide clarity into real time spend vs actuals.
  • Providing monthly spend to the development partners based on work scheduled/completed each month.
  • Assisting with talent travel as requested by the other casting producers including completing direct bill requests and booking car services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years of administrative or relevant work experience
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality/discretion
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with AAA talent and recording studio staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Familiarity with Recording Studios and services desired
  • Familiarity with PlayStation products
  • Experience working in a multi-national global company

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role is eligible for benefit offerings that include medical, dental, and vision.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate. $45—$48 USD
