Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Process Engineer to support the manufacturing process from wax to shipment on the production floor. The role acts as the technical owner of assigned parts, collaborating with operators and leadership to boost quality, throughput, and efficiency.

The candidate will focus on process optimization, troubleshooting, and leading technical projects while coordinating with engineering, operations, quality, customers, and vendors to drive continuous improvement in casting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Support the manufacturing process from wax to shipment.
• Serve as the technical owner of assigned parts throughout production.
• Spend the majority of time on the manufacturing floor working with operators, cross-functional teams, and leadership to improve quality, throughput, and efficiency.
• Focus on process optimization.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Ensure casting processes consistently produce high-quality products.
• Investigate root causes.
• Implement process improvements.
• Lead technical projects.
• Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, quality, customers, and vendors.
