Job summary

Commonwealth Rolled Products in Lewisport, KY is seeking a Maintenance Planner to organize and schedule maintenance for the Casting team, aiming to minimize downtime and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent and area engineers to develop PM programs, maintain records, and coordinate weekly schedules with production.

5+ years of experience preferred; strong planning and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED requested.
• 5+ years of maintenance planning or related experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong planning, organizing and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven technical competence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain effective preventive maintenance (PM) programs for all equipment in area of accountability.
• Maintain and review equipment history to identify opportunities for reliability improvements or cost savings.
• Provide job planning and scheduling details: work scope, BOM, methods, equipment, drawings.
• Coordinate weekly maintenance schedules with production and maintenance staff.
• Maintain and update maintenance equipment records and MPAC files.
• Encourage proactive maintenance activities and backlog reduction.
• Process in-house repairable items cost-effectively.
• Create and use standard jobs.
