Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Group Leader for the Casting department in Dover, New Jersey. This on-site role supports daily manufacturing operations, trains operators, schedules labor, and leads continuous improvement projects.

The position includes handling shift transitions and coordinating with multiple departments to meet production targets. The role requires supervisory experience or related shop floor knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Planner and other supervisors to ensure customer schedules are met.
• Act as a change agent/leader for new initiatives in department.
• Assist with quality and cost-improvement methods and ensure training completion in the area.
• Manage NES/hourly reports and Time & Attendance system for the shift.
• Participate in performance appraisals and provide feedback to supervision.
• Communicate safety, quality, and productivity concerns promptly to supervision.
