Job summary
Howmet Dover Casting, located in Dover, New Jersey, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the casting facility's engineering initiatives and align them with plant performance objectives. You will partner with manufacturing managers to develop processes that meet customer requirements, while guiding budgets, NPI programs, and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering is required.
- 2 years leadership plus 7 years Sr Engineering experience.
- Must have sound manufacturing knowledge.
- Export-controlled data awareness and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead product yield improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
- Direct tool/part designs and standards management.
- Manage the facility's engineering budgets.
- Drive NPI initiatives ensuring timelines and budgets.
- Develop the overall plant scrap reduction plan and targets.
- Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to meet metrics.
- Report status of scrap reduction initiatives to Plant Manager.
- Direct and participate in cost/product improvement and problem solving.
- Coordinate scrap reduction initiatives with engineering staff.
- Establish relationships with engineering teams and promote communication.
- Work with engine manufacturers to optimize core design and producibility.
- Plan future engineering organization structure with leadership.
