Job summary

The role emphasizes 14 CFR compliance, reliability trend analysis, and monthly reporting to support the CASS program and executive discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, engineering, data analytics, or STEM; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Proficiency with data analysis; experience interpreting aircraft maintenance data and regulatory trends.
  • Experience with CASS programs, component reliability trending, and maintenance program surveillance is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze maintenance and operational data to identify trends, reliability issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 135 and 135.431 via CASS program administration and governance.
  • Prepare monthly CASS Board reporting with fleet performance, reliability metrics, and removal data.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Managers, Maintenance, Materials, and OEMs to address reliability concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Present actionable insights to leadership to drive safety and operational reliability.

Job Summary

The CASS & Reliability Analyst supports Ameriflight's Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) Program by analyzing maintenance and operational data, identifying trends and reliability issues, and helping improve fleet performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with Maintenance, Fleet Management, and other operational teams to provide data-driven recommendations and support continuous improvement initiatives

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with 14 CFR
  • 135.431 requirements through the effective administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the AMF Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) Program.
  • Analyze fleet operational and maintenance data to identify performance trends, recurring defects, and potential system reliability concerns. Perform regular reviews of Pilot Reports (PIREPs) and Maintenance Reports (MREPs) to identify emerging issues and support proactive maintenance program improvements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance and inspection programs, ensuring that inspection intervals, maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance activities continue to support regulatory compliance, safety, and operational reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain CASS and Reliability Program reporting, including the analysis of fleet performance indicators, reliability metrics, and component removal data for monthly CASS Board meetings. Present actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic maintenance decisions and continuous operational improvement.
  • Partner with Fleet Managers, Maintenance, Materials, and OEMs to investigate reliability concerns, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions aimed at improving fleet performance.

Requirements
Preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in aviation reliability analysis, including experience with CASS programs, component reliability trending, and maintenance program surveillance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, statistical functions) and Power Bl.
  • Ability to interpret aircraft system data and maintenance records and synthesize findings into clear, defensible written products for regulatory and executive audiences.
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Engineering, Data Analytics, or another STEM-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Must meet airport badging requirements, including TSA Security background check.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This role is primarily based in an office setting and requires extended periods of sitting, working on a computer, and using standard office equipment. Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting may be required. The position may also involve periodic visits to aircraft hangars, maintenance facilities, and operational areas, where employees may be exposed to moderate noise, moving equipment, aircraft activity, and varying temperatures.
