Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Gaming Surveillance Operator to monitor casino activities and ensure regulatory compliance. You will observe via CCTV, review footage, and coordinate with Security and other departments to protect gaming integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Familiarity with casino table games and poker, including rules, bets, and payouts.
• Previous experience in surveillance or strong knowledge of casino gaming operations.
• Flexible availability to work day, swing, and graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CCTV technology and VMS to monitor for suspicious activity, irregularities, and violations.
• Monitor casino operations across tables, cages, count room, slots, poker, and sportsbook for compliance with laws and policies.
• Review recorded footage to investigate incidents, disputes, and risk management issues and complete required reports.
• Operate facial recognition, license plate recognition, panic alarms, and access control systems as applicable.
• Evaluate players for advantage play and suspicious activities using live observation and software tools.
• Coordinate with local Gaming Authority and assist other law enforcement as necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations and company policies; ensure confidentiality of surveillance operations.
