Job summary

Rivers Casino Philadelphia is seeking a Security Supervisor to maintain safety for guests, employees and assets while adhering to state gaming regulations. The role involves leadership of security staff, emergency response, and collaboration with law enforcement when needed.

The position requires EMT certification, supervisory experience, and knowledge of gaming regulations. It offers a dynamic casino environment, flexible shifts, and opportunities to support safety programs and customer service

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Two or more years of previous experience in security or law enforcement.
• Must be EMT certified or within 6 months of being hired.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Gaming leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state gaming regulations, safety and security practices and protocols.
• Background and knowledge of security operations, OSHA regulations, safety, investigation, and legal issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent leadership/motivation skills.
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• Excellent knowledge of various computer programs including Microsoft Office.
• Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain policies and programs to ensure physical safety of guests, employees, property and assets.
• Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations and internal controls.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests at all times.
• Respond to disturbances and defuse incidents.
• Direct activities of security staff and manage staffing in accordance with policies.
• Write detailed security reports and maintain daily logs.
