Job summary

North Star Mohican Casino Resort is seeking a Security Officer for full-time work in the Gaming Division. The role pays $17.75 per hour, with second shift and weekend differentials and reports to the Security Supervisor.

Responsibilities include protecting patrons and staff, patrolling the casino and surrounding areas, handling money transports on the floor, and preparing incident reports. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to obtain a Mohican Nation Gaming

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Under 19, a diploma is required.

Responsibilities

Provide for the security, safety and protection of customers, staff, and visitors and the property.
Maintain the highest standards of customer service per North Star Mohican Casino Resort policies.
Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work and wear the approved uniform.
Coordinate emergency procedures and assist on-site personnel when instructed.
Patrol the premises and parking lot of the casino.
Transport monies on the floor and escort courier services transporting casino funds.
Provide written incident reports to the shift supervisor for unusual events.
Adhere to all policies, procedures and the Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace policy.
Attend applicable training and adapt to changes as needed.
