Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe of Indians - State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations, and The Point Casino Policies and Procedures.
- Enforce gaming enterprise and regulatory laws and requirements.
- Maintain vigilance to ensure the safety of patrons, employees, and company property.
- Monitor game participants to detect cheating, identify rule violators, and observe designated persons.
- Communicate with supervising personnel via hand signals, telephone, or voice to report suspected violations.
- Handle transfer of monies, chips, and documentation within the casino.
- Responsible for card and dice destruction.
- Access highly sensitive areas using keys and authorized to use them.
- Provide emergency medical care, including CPR, first aid, and stabilization, following Kitsa County guidelines.
- Inspect and maintain medical equipment and supplies for readiness.
- Coordinate with emergency services and assist in cases requiring advanced medical care.
- Notify surveillance of medical incidents following proper procedures.
- Complete accident reports and claim forms for work-related injuries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Effective communication skills with peers, co-workers, and customers.
- Understanding of state, civil, and criminal laws.
- Availability to work all shifts, including split shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to manage stress effectively.
Education and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous gaming experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of security/law enforcement experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Attend and pass First Aid/CPR/AED training.
- Maintain EMT certification with annual updates.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Qualify for and obtain Class III gaming licenses from Washington State Gambling Commission and Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Commission.
- Pass a hair follicle drug and alcohol screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant hand and finger dexterity.
- Ability to exert force up to fifty pounds.
- Stand for extended periods; occasionally crouch or stoop.
- Walk or move about frequently.
- Work with fingers and receive detailed oral information.
- Good vision at close range, color discrimination, and focus adjustment.
