Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Security Officer/EMT to protect guests, staff, and casino property on the Wind Creek premises. The role includes responding to medical emergencies, providing EMT support, and assisting with security operations during nights and holidays.

The position requires EMT certification, a high school diploma or GED, and physical fitness testing. Candidates with casino security experience and strong writing/communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Two (2) years' experience in law enforcement, military, corrections or other security capacity or two (2) years EMT experience; must pass basic Security Officer training within 60 days.
• Currently hold an EMT license from the State where the property is located; National Registry as required by the State.
• Must meet a departmental physical fitness standard with defined tests.
• Experience in casino security and prior report writing are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical scenes and assesses situations.
• Takes charge of all medical emergencies upon arrival at a scene; documents name and qualification.
• Writes incident reports; assists as needed during emergencies.
• Escort employees and guests and maintain guest safety; control crowds.
• Patrols entrances and exits and checks identification to prevent theft.
