Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and complete GED within six months
• Must be twenty-one years of age or older
• Two years’ experience in law enforcement, military, corrections or other security capacity, or two years of EMT experience with required training within 60 days
• Currently hold an EMT license from the State where the property is located; National Registry as required by the State
• Must meet departmental physical fitness standards and pass a skills test (70% pass rate)
• Ability to stand/walk entire shift; willing to work nights, weekends, holidays
• Must have Tribal Gaming License or ability to obtain and maintain a license
• Must pass job interview and complete Title#31 training
• Smoke environment tolerance and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical scenes and assesses situations
• Takes charge of medical emergencies and documents details
• Trains peers in use of medical gear
• Inventory and document Trauma bags and drug tests
• Inspects AED and oxygen supplies; conducts monthly inspections
• Writes incident reports and communicates procedures
• Escorts guests and employees; provides guest service
• Patrols entrances/exits; manages safety and crowds
• Performs other duties as assigned
