Job summary

Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee is seeking a Host/Hostess to welcome guests, obtain seating information, and guide diners to seats in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will support daily front-of-house operations and ensure a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, collecting party details, seating at appropriate locations, handling guest checks, and maintaining knowledge of policies while complying with gaming regulations and tribal procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months' experience in high-volume food service.
• Basic mathematical skills related to cashiering and POS operations.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent English communication with guests and coworkers.
• Assist other team members with daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance in a positive manner.
• Obtain guest information such as name, party size, and seating preferences.
• Ushers guests to seats at a comfortable pace.
• Enter guest checks into the computer system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures including pre-check and cashiering.
• Communicate with management and servers to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Comply with all Gaming Commission regulations and Seminole Tribe policies.
