Job summary
Playatgila is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Vee Quiva Resort & Casino in Laveen, AZ. This on-site role oversees maintenance teams, coordinates work orders, and ensures safety and guest satisfaction at enterprise properties.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in maintenance operations, a valid AZ driver’s license, and supervisory experience. The position emphasizes adherence to the GILA WAY and a strong safety culture within a casino environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 3 years in maintenance operations.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge in a technical skill area is expected.
- Must have a valid AZ driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to perform the GILA WAY: greet, interact, listen, and appreciate guests.
Responsibilities
- Promotes excellent guest service to internal and external guests.
- Implements projects and assignments from management.
- Develops schedules and assigns duties for timely work orders.
- Inspects all work and public areas and assigns tasks to staff.
- Ensures plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks are completed correctly.
- Requests and reviews maintenance supplies as needed.
- Oversees lighting, fixtures, and safety compliance.
- Provides supervision and coaching to maintenance staff.
- Participates in safety and emergency plan operations.
