Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a dedicated cook to properly prepare all foods listed on menus for grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising, or poaching in an assigned kitchen outlet. You will ensure plates are visually appealing and cooked to the customer’s and chef’s specifications.

Maintain a neat, safe workstation and assist coworkers to ensure efficient kitchen operation. You may support at special events, attend meetings, perform other duties as assigned, and help with

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per state regulations.
• Background check required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods for grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising, poaching or pantry work.
• Maintain a neat, clean workstation and ensure safe food handling.
• Assist co-workers to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
• Support at special events/parties and participate in setup/teardown as needed.
• Attend meetings and perform follow-up tasks as assigned.
