• Season and cook food according to recipes or judgment.
• Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at stations.
• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients as needed.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work stations and equipment.
• Prepare items for various cooking methods and plating.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Handle, store and rotate products properly.
• Close kitchen per checklist and assist others in closing.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens and grills.
• Carve and trim meats for service or sandwiches.
• Estimate consumption and requisition supplies as needed.
