Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a kitchen cook to prepare foods listed on menus across grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising, poaching and pantry items. You will ensure plates are attractive and cooked to chef specifications.

Maintain a clean workstation, assist coworkers for efficient operation, and help with special events as needed. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary apprenticeship preferred; ability to work holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or preferred.
• Culinary apprenticeship or Associate's Degree with some industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares foods to grill, fry, broil, bake, boil, braise, poach or pantry items as per menus and chef specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and assist teammates for smooth kitchen operation.
• Support for special events or parties as needed, including setup and teardown.
• Ensure proper storage of foods and that equipment is in good working condition.
• Attend meetings and participate in regular work duties and shifts.
