Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a skilled line cook to prepare foods across menus, ensuring plates are visually appealing and cooked to chef specifications. You will keep stations clean, stock ingredients, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

As part of the culinary team, you will assist with events, maintain sanitary conditions, and help with setup and teardown as needed, including carving or other duties. Flexibility for holidays and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or associate degree preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain background check clearance.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods grilled, fried, broiled, baked, boiled, braised or poached to chef specifications.
• Maintain neat, clean workstation and proper storage of foods.
• Assist with special events and parties; may help with carving and setup.
• Ensure proper closing of workstations and ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests; support guest relations.
