Job summary

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of dining experience (fine dining preferred), a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 21+ and casino experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two or more years’ dining server experience required; fine dining preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, especially POS systems.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverages to dining guests.
• Present a friendly and professional image at the hotel/casino.
• Suggest items to guests and upsell appetizers, beverages, and desserts.
• Enter orders into POS system accurately and present checks for payment.
• Follow cash handling and gaming guidelines.
• Maintain setup and cleanliness of service stations, tables, and dining rooms.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
• Recognize Elite and Prestige players and provide appropriate service.
