Job summary

Native Village of Eklutna/Chin’an Gaming Hall in Anchorage, AK, seeks a dynamic Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to oversee casino food and beverage outlets, including the food truck, bars, and concession stand, ensuring top-tier guest service and regulatory compliance.

You will lead staffing, budgeting, menu development, inventory, and pricing decisions, mentor a diverse team, and act in the F&B Manager's absence, delivering a premium hospitality experience 24/7.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED required; additional hospitality or business education preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations, including supervisory or management experience.
• Casino, gaming, resort, restaurant, bar, or high-volume hospitality management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines, responsible alcohol service requirements, and gaming industry standards.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, labor management, inventory control, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations of all casino food and beverage outlets, including the food truck, bars, and concession stand.
• Assume operational leadership of the Food & Beverage department in the Manager's absence.
• Assist in developing staffing plans and schedules based on business levels, special events, and operational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels, ordering, receiving, storage, and product controls to minimize waste and ensure availability.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Events, Gaming, Security, and other departments for events and VIP services.
