Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced events leader to oversee promotions and special events at L’Auberge Baton Rouge. You will manage budgeting, staffing, and execution of high-profile casino events to drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

The role requires five years in casino services with three years in event planning, plus strong PR, writing, and analytic skills. Knowledge of casino management systems is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing required or equivalent.
Minimum of five years of Casino Services experience, with at least three years in planning and executing successful events programs.
Public relations skills preferred.
Strong written and communication skills.
Knowledge of casino player management system and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises all direct reports for events.
Develops promotions and events, coordinates with calendar of events, and manages budgets.
Oversees staff and ensures guest satisfaction for events and promotions.
Determines theme, decor, supplies, and F&B for events; ensures procurement and inventory control.
Manages events and promotions segments of the slot marketing system.
Maintains departmental objectives, budgets, staffing, and post-event analysis.
Prepares monthly financial statements for all special events.
