Job summary

Wildhorse Resort Casino in Pendleton, OR is seeking a Deli Supervisor for Wild Roast Deli. You will supervise and train staff, oversee food preparation and service, beverage service, cash handling, inventory, ordering, and daily deli operations.

Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining a safe, clean environment, scheduling, coaching staff, and collaborating with the F&B Manager on budgets and menu quality. Prior experience in F&B and supervision is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of F&B experience with at least six months of cashiering.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Two (2) years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma/GED or ten years' experience.
• Demonstrates computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• POS and Inventory System experience.
• Strong communication skills—able to generate proficient written correspondence, and effective oral, verbal, and interpersonal skills in a diverse workforce.
• Licensed/certified as a food handler within one month of employment and maintains certification.
• Stand/walk for long periods; able to lift 50 lbs.
• Presentable and professional appearance.
• Flexible schedule during high business volume and events.
• Requires High-Security Gaming License clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversees deli staff including hiring, scheduling, leave approval, performance coaching and counseling.
• Supervises customer service and ensures prompt, friendly service.
• Maintains stock of food, products, and supplies for Wild Roast Deli.
• Operates POS and handles food/beverage service.
• Ensures food items handled per health guidelines and safety policies.
• Works with F&B Manager on budget projections and plans.
• Ensures sanitation and cleanliness of the deli area.
