Shirley Parsons is seeking an experienced Site Safety Representative to support a large-scale casino construction project in Kings Mountain, NC. The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, and supporting daily safety operations on an active site.

This long-term, 12+ month assignment offers a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with a pay rate of $55/hour and per diem available for qualified candidates. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Experience supporting active construction job sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and safety practices.
• Experience with safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and job hazard analysis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, trades, and site leadership.
• Strong field presence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards
• Ensure OSHA compliance and project safety requirements
• Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Monitor contractor safety performance and field activities
• Promote safe work practices across site operations
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Collaborate with site leadership to improve safety performance
