Job summary

Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, PA is seeking a detail-oriented cashier/cage clerk to handle cashing, vouchers, and chip exchanges with precision and accuracy. The role requires posting transactions to the casino accounting system, preparing tax forms, enrolling new Players’ Club members, supporting promotions, and maintaining secure, compliant cash operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

Perform check cashing, customer deposits and withdrawals; make change and exchange chips and vouchers for cash.
Prepare customer jackpots, W2G, W9s and other tax forms; service the Table Games Department with tax forms as needed.
Issue slot counter checks when assigned to a front window; post all information in the casino accounting system.
Accountable for all transactions and balances daily to assure accuracy; prepare AML entries for compliance.
Enroll new Members in the Players’ Club and answer account questions; support promotional giveaways.
Assist with charitable promotions and manage cash banks and reconciling sales.
Be knowledgeable on kiosk functions and promotions; perform other duties as assigned.
