Job summary

Gold Ranch Casino in Dayton, NV is seeking a Count/Drop Team Member to join our team responsible for accurate collection, counting, and recording of all casino cash from the floor across our Northern Nevada Truckee Gaming properties. Ideal candidates have high-volume cash handling experience, basic Microsoft Office skills, and excellent math and English communication abilities.

This on-site role involves working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with strict safety and accuracy

Qualifications

Experience with high-volume cash handling is required.
Casino cage experience preferred.
Excellent math accuracy and English communication required.
Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
Completion of high school, GED, or equivalent preferred (required).

Responsibilities

Collect and count revenue from drop sources per Gaming Control Board and property guidelines.
Count, sort, and organize currency, vouchers, and paperwork from drop containers.
Retrieve drop boxes, distribute, drop the filled ones and replace with empty.
Load currency counter equipment and reconcile counted funds.
Total all cash, vouchers, and reconciling documents.
Strap and stamp currency bundles.
Secure the Count Room and manage keys.
Monitor and maintain count/drop team equipment, perform limited repairs as needed.
Follow safety policies and work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Operate ten-key calculator and standard office equipment.
