Job summary

Golden Nugget Las Vegas is seeking a Count Team member to manage the collection, counting, and documentation of currency and gaming proceeds in a secure count room. The role supports adherence to Colorado gaming regulations and internal controls while working with Security, Finance, Slots, and Table Games teams.

Responsibilities include counting, verifying, and reconciling cash and vouchers, maintaining confidentiality, and producing required reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous cash handling, banking, accounting, or casino experience preferred.
• Prior count room experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in removal, transport, and replacement of slot machine bill validator boxes.
• Count and verify currency, vouchers, chips, and gaming proceeds.
• Accurately record and reconcile count results.
• Maintain compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.
• Ensure security of all funds during collection and counting.
• Prepare required paperwork and documentation for count activities.
• Identify and report discrepancies or suspicious activity.
• Maintain confidentiality of gaming revenue and count room operations.
• Assist with cleaning and organization of the count room and equipment.
• Collaborate with Security, Finance, Slots, and Table Games departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
