Job summary

Eureka Resort & Casino is hiring a part-time, non-exempt Soft Count Clerk in Nevada. The Count Team Member will count and balance currency from live games and Kiosks, assist with drop box sorts, and ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulations.

Qualified applicants have cash handling experience, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment. High school diploma required; 21+ years old preferred. This role reports to the Count Team Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Count and balance currency/coins from live games, slot bill validators and kiosks.
• Assist Supervisor with sorts, counts and records contents of table game drop boxes, kiosks and currency drop boxes.
• Maintain knowledge of Gaming Commission laws/regulations and Eurekas policies and controls.
• Oversee and record drop collection and counting money.
• Maintain all records, reports and paperwork for the Soft Count Department.
• Transport departmental wheeled carts to and from secured locations.
• Perform related work as required or assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.
