Job summary

Northern Waters Casino Resort is seeking a beverage server to provide excellent service in the lounge, bar, event center, and gaming areas. You will take orders, describe cocktails, and ensure cleanliness of beverage stations while staying compliant with policies and gaming regulations.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required; prior bar experience is a plus. Expect $8.00–$11.00 per hour, non-exempt, DOE, at the Michigan property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old to serve alcohol in Michigan.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills required.
• Must pass TIPS training.
• Background checks and pre-employment screenings required for gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and describe or suggest cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage stations and bar areas for sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
• Assist bartenders and supervisors and aid with deliveries as needed.
• Adhere to uniform and personal cleanliness standards and work schedules.
