Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated's Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel Property in Kentucky is seeking a bartender who will provide patrons with excellent service, prepare drinks for guests and cocktail staff, and help maintain bar cleanliness and inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and nights, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license. Prior bartending experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares drinks correctly at the bar for patrons and for cocktail staff.
• Assisting with cleaning of the bar area and inventory maintenance.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Responsible for performing “responsible alcohol service” with regard to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
• Other duties as assigned.
