Job summary

Mesquite Gaming Employment Center is seeking a Barista to prepare and serve coffee, alcoholic beverages, specialty drinks, and food in a fast-paced casino setting. You will process guest transactions, maintain cleanliness, and create a welcoming environment for guests, following established recipes and quality standards.

Qualifications include cash handling and customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

Cash handling experience and guest service is required.
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
Must be able to accurately take and fulfill guest orders and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

Prepare workstations and equipment for daily operations.
Greet guests promptly and professionally.
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other items per recipes.
Enter orders into the POS system accurately.
Deliver items and maintain guest satisfaction throughout service.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and service areas.
Verify guest age and comply with liquor regulations.
Reconcile cash, card, and other transactions per procedures.
Stock bar supplies and inventory as needed.
Follow all safety and sanitation regulations and policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
