Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous bar back experience in upscale/high-volume casino preferred.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work weekends, late nights, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid food handlers’ card required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional service to guests and bar staff.
• Greet and welcome guests seated at the assigned station.
• Assist bartenders with bussing, cleaning, restocking and garnish prep.
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas and equipment.
• Deep clean tables, bars, and beverage equipment as scheduled.
• Know beverage products, offerings and promotions.
• Ensure safe drinking standards and recognize signs of intoxication.
• Report safety hazards to management promptly.
• Attend training and departmental meetings as scheduled.
