Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous bar back experience in high-volume setting preferred.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, late nights, holidays and overtime.
• Must meet appearance standards and be physically mobile.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long periods.
• Must have valid food handlers’ card.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly service to guests and bar staff.
• Greets guests at assigned station.
• Resolves issues per service standards.
• Assists bartenders with bussing, cleaning and garnishes.
• Maintains cleanliness per health and safety standards.
• Deep cleans tables, counters, dispensers and equipment.
• Operates and maintains bar equipment safely.
• Completes side work as directed.
• Recognizes casino players and ensures proper service.
• Knows casino events and directions to areas.
• Keeps beverage areas, stock rooms organized.
• Attends training and department meetings.
• Reports hazards to the manager on duty.
• Gathers, polishes, and delivers glassware and supplies.
• Delivers beverages to bars promptly and safely.
• Cuts fruit garnishes and handles setup duties.
• Maintains knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, mixers.
• Flexibile schedule; may work at other beverage outlets.
