Strata Energy, Inc. is seeking a hands-on field operator in the Geology department to support well cementing and exploration activities at the Ross Project in northeastern Wyoming.
The role involves operating cementing and water trucks, performing well abandonment tasks, and contributing to safe, efficient wellfield construction on site. You will maintain equipment, document activities, and collaborate with the Drilling Supervisor and Construction teams while adhering to safety and radiation

This position is responsible for operating a cementing unit and dry bulk cement truck, as well as a water truck and other equipment used in the well cementing and installation process. In addition to supporting well cementing operations, the role assists with the exploration program and well abandonment activities. Daily responsibilities include contributing to the construction of wellfield components to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to hazards typically associated with a uranium ISR facility which includes the presence of low levels of radioactive materials and radiation, low to moderate noises levels, moving equipment, slips on wet surfaces, and trips related to uneven ground and facility equipment. The work is generally outdoors, and the employee can be exposed to inclement weather including cold, hot, snow, rain, mud etc.
