Rowe’s IGA Supermarkets is seeking a Cashier to join our front-end team. The role focuses on scanning items accurately, handling money, and delivering friendly, efficient service to every shopper.

The cashier will weigh and scan products, process payments, bag items, and maintain a clean register area while supporting store policies and teamwork to ensure a positive customer experience.

We are looking for a Cashier to join our Rowe's Team

The purpose of this position is to ensure customers leave the store with a positive experience. This person will be scanning items quickly and accurately, handling money and giving accurate change, bagging produce and other items, keeping their check stand clean and organized, and providing exceptional customer service.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

Cashiers perform their duties primarily at the front end of the store, with exposure to outside weather conditions at times. Work involves standing at a register for prolonged periods, repetitive arm, and hand movements, moving and lifting product, and continuous interaction with customers and fellow associates.
