Job Responsibilities

1. Provide efficient and courteous customer service, including managing check-out procedures and ensuring proper sign-off.
2. Scan and ring customer orders accurately, credit items to the correct department, and remove items from carts.
3. Handle and be accountable for all transaction funds.
4. Assist courtesy clerks in bagging groceries.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
6. Adhere to all legal laws regarding sales of beer, wine, WIC handling, coupons, and transactions involving cards and EBT.
7. Follow policies for proper use of tills, change procedures, and intercom communication.
8. Complete weekly produce tests and record all not-on-file items daily.
9. Assist with light stocking duties and maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and front end.
10. Replace misplaced items and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions
