**Responsibilities include:**

1. Providing efficient and courteous service to customers, including managing checkout queues professionally.
2. Scanning and ringing up customer orders according to company policies and standards.
3. Handling and being accountable for all transaction funds.
4. Assisting with bagging groceries and light stocking duties.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work station and surrounding areas.
6. Following all relevant state, federal, and company laws and procedures regarding sales, coupons, and transactions.
7. Taking weekly produce tests and recording non-file items accurately.
8. Using communication tools properly and avoiding distractions during checkout.
9. Understanding and explaining the ValuCard program.
10. Performing other duties as assigned, such as cleaning and restocking.
