Job summary

High Flying Foods seeks a friendly Cashier for Lofty Coffee at San Diego International Airport. You’ll greet guests, enter orders, process payments, and keep the station clean and efficient in a fast-paced team setting.

We offer $19.25/hour plus tips and surcharge, free parking, union benefits, paid vacation and sick leave, and opportunities for career growth. Flexible scheduling includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a barista or cashier in food service.
• Strong customer service and cash-handling skills.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Card or willingness to obtain during training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately enter orders and process payment.
• Ensure orders are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
• Count cash drawer at the start and end of shift.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive customer experience and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols to keep staff and customers safe.
• Respond to inquiries and refer to management when applicable.
• Stock and maintain station and cleaning duties as assigned by management.
