Job summary

High Flying Foods is hiring a Utility Runner at San Francisco International Airport to support Farmerbrown and Gott's Roadside. You will help with supply transfers, item rotation, and maintaining a clean kitchen and backroom in a fast-paced dining environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in porter/dishwashing/stocking/delivery positions.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds and stand/walk for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Rotate items to maintain freshness (beer kegs, grab-and-go items, etc.).
• Keep kitchen areas clean: sweep, mop, wash surfaces and equipment.
• Unload deliveries and organize backroom for accessibility.
• Wash dishes and utensils; ensure readiness for customers.

High Flying Foods is looking for a Utility Runner to join our team at San Francisco International Airport. This position supports our Farmerbrown and Gott's Roadside Restaurants. Responsibilities

• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas according to pull list
• Rotate and various items for freshness including but not limited to beer kegs, grab and go items, merchandise, etc.
• Keep kitchen area clean, including sweeping and mopping, washing tables, walls, refrigerators and other kitchen equipment
• Remove garbage to designated areas
• Wash dishes, cutlery and other restaurant equipment, ensuring they are ready for customer use
• Organize backroom area and ensure all plate ware, cutlery, to-go boxes, and the like are easily accessible for use
• Maintain a clean work environment, including countertops, floors and kitchen equipment.
• Unload and unpack deliveries to the restaurant, focusing on product rotation to ensure freshness
• Empty all trash and other debris
• May include minor kitchen prep, rotation of grab and go products
• Organize offsite storage area including but not limited to food and/or restaurant equipment such as extra glassware and full or empty beer kegs
• Ensure proper knife safety is followed, including but not limited to airport rules regarding sharp objects.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a porter, dishwashing, stocking, or delivery position
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers
• Must possess the ability to work safely and ensure all proper safety protocols are enforced.
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of shift
