Job summary

Fields Auto Group is seeking a friendly Cashier/Receptionist in Illinois to deliver outstanding customer service at the dealership. You will calculate the customer’s bill, receive payments, issue receipts, answer phones, and help direct customers to the proper department with a professional, courteous manner.

On-the-job training is available and you will support clerical tasks for managers. Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00 pm–8:00 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am–6:00 pm. Pay: $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management.
• Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up promptly
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
