Job summary

Honda of Watertown is seeking a part-time employee to assist with cashier duties, customer service, and clerical tasks. The role includes handling payments, answering calls, and filing orders in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, reliable schedule (Mon-Thu 3pm-8pm and Sat 7:30am-5pm), and a strong customer service focus. A background check and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Available to Monday - Thursday 3p-8p
• Saturday 7:30-5:00
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Filing of repair orders and parts tickets
• End of day cash out
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
