Job summary

Honda of Watertown is seeking a courteous cashier/clerical associate to support daily dealership operations. You will handle payments, answer phones, file paperwork, and perform end-of-day cash-out while delivering friendly, professional service.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and the ability to work Monday–Thursday 4p–8p and Saturday 7:30a–5p. This position supports a busy automotive team with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Availability Monday - Thursday 4p-8p and Saturday 7:30-5:00.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments and record on repair order.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate person.
• Communicate professionally to minimize time on hold.
• Filing of repair orders and parts tickets.
• End of day cash out.
• Assist managers with various clerical duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
• Filing of repair orders and parts tickets
• End of day cash out
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
• Available to Monday - Thursday 4p-8p
• Saturday 7:30-5:00
• Must have a valid driver’s license
