Arlington Acura in Palatine is seeking a dependable Cashier/Receptionist to greet customers, answer phones, process payments, and provide administrative support in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will balance the cash drawer, maintain accurate transaction records, and assist multiple departments while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in cashier, receptionist, customer service, or administrative roles is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude; detail-oriented with accuracy in payments.

Responsabilités

Cashier/Receptionist

Our reception and cashier teams play an important role in creating a positive first impression for our customers and keeping our dealership running smoothly.

We're looking for a dependable and friendly Cashier/Receptionist to greet customers, answer phones, process payments, and provide administrative support to the dealership. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and assist customers with general questions.
• Process customer payments accurately and maintain proper transaction records.
• Balance and maintain the cash drawer.
• Assist customers with payment, cashier, and general dealership needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and cashier area.
• Scan, file, and electronically organize dealership documents and paperwork.
• Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative duties as needed.
• Provide support to the Sales, Service, Parts, and Accounting departments.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling customer and dealership information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous cashier, receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling payments and paperwork.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and office technology skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work the required schedule.

Compensation

• $16-$17 per hour
• Paid weekly

Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 2:00 PM-8:00 PM
• Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM or 1:00 PM-6:00 PM
