What Does a Cashier Do at Dish Society?

At Dish Society, cashiers are the face of the guest experience and the heart of our front-of-house team.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with energy, warmth, and genuine hospitality
• Take accurate orders and input them into the POS system efficiently
• Guide guests through the menu and answer questions like a pro
• Run food, make drinks, bus and reset tables as needed
• Craft coffee and non-alcoholic beverages to spec
• Restock utensils, cups, sauces, and to-go supplies
• Keep FOH areas clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Treat every patio pup like a VIP—dog treats are welcome
• Communicate with your team and jump in to help wherever needed
• Keep things flowing smoothly to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction

Details

• Start at $15/hr during training
• Once trained, earn base pay + tips
• Full-time and part-time roles available
• Must have weekend availability
