Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsabilités

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s customer service policies
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Responds knowledgeably to customer and employee questions and guides them through projects
• Communicates pricing and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns and refunds
• Monitors cash in drawer and performs daily reconciliation
• Removes security tags and bags merchandise for customers
• Turns around checkout time by opening additional registers when necessary
• Prepares register area and stock supplies at shifts’ start and end
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Inputs and submits customer orders and verifies receipts
• Looks up product information and price matches competitors
• Records store use items and maintains documentation
• Ensures store cleanliness and safety compliance
• Operates store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, cash recycler, CCTV)
• Performs other duties as assigned
