Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Cashier Lead to join our team. You will deliver outstanding customer service, handle transactions on a POS system, and maintain clean, well-stocked food and beverage areas.

You will also assist with scheduling, train junior cashiers, and ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts and audits. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Cash handling skills required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Process transactions on a POS register; keep area clean and stocked.
• Order, receive, and unload product; rotate merchandise on planograms.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with creating and managing the team’s schedule.
• Train lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
