Job summary

Wingstop in McAllen, TX is seeking a cashier to efficiently take and fulfill orders, process payments, and assist with a fast-paced service environment. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, friendly customer interactions, and teamwork to ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to balance the register at the end of each shift. Training on Wingstop standards and safety procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and giving accurate change.
• Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders.
• Strong customer-service skills with the ability to upsell and handle busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders in person or over the phone.
• Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and sauces to upsell where appropriate.
• Balance the cash drawer at shift end and report discrepancies.
• Keep the Front of House clean and stocked; follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate to management when necessary.
